Homework Assignment

I am confused about something my son has written in his agenda today... He is to donate to the Brooke Mulford cause. I asked him what information he had about this a paper, with how the donations were being accepted, how the students were donating to her, did they need to write get well letters to her???? His reply was no... just donate money... I do not want anyone to think I am heartless, but I really feel this has nothing to do with the kids. I get her caringbridge messages each day or so, attended the walk and anticipated attending the event at Seacrets. But as a mom I am alittle put off about being solicited for donations at my child's school.
